It's a V6, IIRC. From the S-10 chassis donor.
CG kind of wants to put stacks on it, I think, but it's currently stock (TBI, I think).

It was. I took the bed off and have been working on get the frame cleaned up. and rebuilding the back suspension. It was someone's project and now I'm turning it into my own. Ran when parked.

That's a full length 1930-1 Model A truck hood. Underneath is a 4.3L V6 aka a micro-sbc. Don't tell Ramblin' I can post pics if my phone wants to connect to my computer.

And you said it was carbed? Interesting. I had an 88 that I did a TON too (it was a TBI model). bored 60 over, roller rockers, ported heads. I had some fun in that blazer!
It's a cool combo and frankly I love the 4.3L V6 from GM. I've owned 2 of them and they are great motors. I'm sure with that light of a body/build on top it would haul ass too.

I've never gotten to really drive it on the road and when I did drive it I had no speedo. It might be the open top or the gl0rious noise of the glasspacks but it felt like it hauled some ass.

The engine is moved back it is actually mounted to the tranny cross member and the tranny has a custom cross member. So, mid engined rat rod?
I didn't realize this until someone pointed it out to me but it I prefer the look of the wheels being ahead of the radiator and lights.

That's all that matters, it being fun.
I doubt my Montego is the fastest muscle car in town but it's a blast to drive so who cares?

If I cared I'd probably have a speedo that worked haha! My kids think it's a plaste to ride around and around our driveway in it. I started it up right before I was going to take the bed off and rebuild the rear suspension and my son materializes next to me begging to go for a ride.

Once they begin walking man it is a whole new ballgame. You probably have half a dozen things like it but those push toys are awesome for giving them the confidence and getting the motions down for walking.
